My love for photography began at an early age. Growing up, I always treasured how family photographs and home movies could capture emotions and relationships at a particular moment in time. After finishing my formal education for high school guidance counseling several years ago, I began photography as a hobby. Yet, it wasn't until after the birth of my son that my passion for photography grew even more as I tried to capture his personality on film. It is this love and passion for photography, people, and relationships that guided me toward starting Stacey Cooke Photography.

I am a natural light, on-location photographer and am located in the beautiful college town of Athens, Georgia. I use a more organic approach to capturing portrait images by using natural light in an outdoor landscape, a brightly sunlit room, or near a softly lit window. I use this natural light to create mood and emotion in the photograph that is sometimes lacking in a more traditional studio setting. When photographing children, my hope is to capture their innocence and imagination as we play and laugh together. For the newly engaged couple, I strive to catch moments that show how much they are truly in love. At a wedding, I catch candid shots that show the fun and love that was shared on the couple's special day. As always, my hope is to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind photographs that will become your work of art. I look forward to getting a glimpse into your life and capturing the beauty of your moments.
